At Justmine, we recognize that a core part of the player experience involves building relationships — whether through business, trade, or other cooperative agreements.
This subpage serves two key purposes: to provide players with a clear understanding of how contracts are expected to function, and to offer a reference framework for the Administration and Player-run Authorities (PRAs) when enforcing established agreements.
While we encourage players to respect and uphold their contracts independently, we also provide mechanisms for moderation when disputes arise. However, we ideally expect all parties to resolve matters without direct involvement from the Administration or PRAs.
A contract is a mutual agreement between players that outlines shared expectations or obligations. Contracts can cover anything — trade deals, services, alliances, territorial agreements, or other gameplay arrangements. You're free to define the terms however you'd like, as long as everyone involved understands and agrees to them. No tricks. No hidden clauses.
While there’s no strict requirement to put contracts in writing, doing so is strongly encouraged. Having a clear record makes resolving disputes much easier. You’re free to choose any format that works for your group, an in-game book and quill, signed by all parties, a screenshot of a Discord agreement, a shared document with visible approval (e.g., names or reactions), etc. Having a neutral third-party witness can also help confirm the contract’s validity.
Once the contract is reached between the players, it is expected of you and others to follow and honor the rules of the contract. Always act in good faith, which means being honest, fair, and clear about your intentions.
Do not trick or force people into contracts, and do not look for any possible loopholes to exploit one party or another.
The amendments to the original contract are only to be made by the agreement of all parties involved.
Not every contract can/or should be enforced. A contract becomes unenforceable if any of the following conditions apply:
It requires someone to break a server rule.
No agreement can override official Justmine guidelines.
It was made under coercion or unfair pressure.
If a player was manipulated, threatened, or tricked into agreeing, the contract is invalid.
The terms are unreasonably one-sided or exploitative.
Contracts must be fair. Any agreement that clearly takes advantage of one party will not be upheld.
Unforeseen or uncontrollable circumstances make it impossible to fulfill.
Events outside of anyone’s control (e.g., player ban, rollback, real-life issues) may render the contract void.
The contract was part of a roleplay interaction and not meant to be serious.
RP scenarios that include mock agreements or exaggerated terms are not considered valid unless all parties treat them as a real contract.

If there’s ever doubt about a contract’s legitimacy, PRAs and Administration will assess based on fairness, intent, and context.

If a dispute is inevitable, we ask players to resolve such cases by themselves at first. Try to talk thingso out with all parties involved to try to reach any consensus. If needed, you can involve a third-party neutral mediator to hear each side, talk things out, and reach a fair solution.
